Common Conditions

Rotator Cuff Tear

Moving the arm causes pain.

Symptoms
& Causes
  • Pain occurs when moving the arm due to issues in the rotator cuff, which is responsible for shoulder joint movement and stability.
  • It commonly occurs in people who frequently use their shoulders in sports such as tennis, baseball, or golf.
  • Pain is often felt in the shoulder and arm during actions like brushing teeth or fastening a seatbelt.
  • Ankle Sprain

Occurs due to damage to the ligaments that support the ankle joint.

    Symptoms
    & Causes
  • When an ankle injury occurs, the bone momentarily shifts out of place, causing the ligament to stretch or tear.
  • It often happens when twisting the ankle while playing sports like soccer or basketball.
  • In cases of a tear, swelling and bruising may appear.
  • Tennis Elbow

A condition that causes pain due to a tear in the tendons of the muscles along the back of the forearm (dorsal side).

    Symptoms
    & Causes
  • It frequently occurs in people whose jobs involve repetitive wrist and elbow movements.
  • It is also common among those who enjoy sports that heavily use the shoulder, such as tennis, baseball, and golf.
  • Pain occurs on the outer side of the elbow when bending the wrist upward.
  • Muscle tear

A condition where the muscle tissue responsible for contraction is excessively stretched or torn.

    Symptoms
    & Causes
  • It occurs due to excessive exercise or impact during intense physical activity.
  • It commonly affects areas such as the thighs, calves, shoulders, arms, lower back, and neck.
  • When a muscle tears, a popping sound may be heard, and the pain worsens when the muscle is moved.
